Easter.....

We celebrated Easter this weekend. I pray that this is the last holiday that we spend without Landon. We are really hoping to hear this week that he's scheduled for his visa physical for next week. If that's the case, we hope to travel within 2 weeks of his physical date.

We spent 3 hours Friday evening trading our gas guzzling Mercury Mountaineer for a new, less gas-guzzling Honda Accord.

Then we spent Saturday doing some coupon-shopping. We've been slowly starting to use coupons and trying to save money by doing so. We got some diapers, toys, snacks, drinks, and things for our trip to Korea. Then we came home and attmepted to install the car seat. We still need to take it and have it checked, but it's in there. The AAP has recently recommended that all children under 2 remain rear-facing in their car-seats because it is safer. With our specific car-seat, it says to keep your child rear-facing anyways until they are 34 inches tall. Landon was only 29 inches tall in March, so we'll just start with rear-facing and probably transition him after he turns 2. http://www.aap.org/advocacy/releases/carseat2011.htm

We spent Saturday evening hanging out watching movies and eating pizza with our best friends. It's nice to just be able to hang out and relax and not have to run, run, run all the time. We spent Sunday afternoon with Eric's family for a cookout for Easter. We tried out some of the crayola blue colored bubbles. Let's just say that those went in the trash and I've since bought Landon a couple of things of regular non-colored bubbles. Haha!

The Easter bunny stopped by our house as well and left Landon some goodies!

Can't wait until you're home sweet boy so that we can play with all of these goodies. Oh, and the Easter bunny is working on a BIG project for you on the side of our house. Pics of that to come soon!
