Care Package # 1

Okay, so we are allowed to send Landon a care package or two while we wait. We've been gathering things for the past week or so to send him. We had to wait until home study approval to send it. While I'm disappointed that this package won't make it in time for his 1st birthday, I am glad that I'm getting to send it finally. We've still got a long ways to go, but we've came so far in this journey.

We bought him a baseball outfit with jacket, a pair of Thomas the Train pjs, a pair of fleece toy story footy pjs, a pack of socks, a set of teething keys, a cell phone that we've recorded our voices on, a birthday cake stacker toy, some lavender lotion that we hope the foster mother will use on him, so that it'll be familiar when we use it on him at home. A photo book with pictures of the whole family. We also laminated more pictures of us from trips to Disney, the mountains, and baseball games for him to look through as well. A camera so that the family can take pictures to send back with us. We've also included some chocolates for the foster family. Now, to try to cram all that in a flat rate shipping box. Which by the way, is a joke when sending internationally. Those rates do not apply to international shipping. And this momma is having a hard time fitting all the things she wants to send to her sweet baby boy.
