1997 - We met in November

1998- Had our first date 2/28/98

2002- November 16 I married my best friend

2007- We bought our first home

2009- August -decision to grow our family through adoption 2010- August- applied to adopt. Our journey begins!

Adoption Timeline

December 23, 2009- Our sweet boy Landon was born.

August 22, 2010-Sent our preliminary waiting child application to Holt.

August 24, 2010-Received call welcoming us to Waiting child S Korea program!!!!

September 30, 2010-First office visit with social worker.

October 4, 2010-Formal application accepted by Holt and application sent to Korea program!

October 8, 2010- Received call & email from Korea program officially welcoming us to the S Korea program.

October 14, 2010- Home visit with social worker

October 20, 2010-Individual interviews with social worker

November 3, 2010-Requested to go to committee for a sweet little boy for his adoption.

November 16, 2010-Over the phone interview to be presented to committee and our 8 year wedding anniversary!

November 17, 2010-Received call that we were selected and we have a son!!!!!

December 15, 2010-Home Study approved!

December 16, 2010-Acceptance papers sent!

December 22, 2010-Sent 1st Care Package

December 23, 2010-Landon's 1st Birthday!!!!

January 5, 2011-Legals!

January 6, 2011-Sent in I-600a & I-600

January 7, 2011- Acceptance papers and Home Study going to Korea!!! FINALLY!

February 18, 2011-Biometrics (fingerprint) appointment in Charlotte, NC

February 28, 2011-I-600a and I-600 approval!

March 7, 2011-NVC Logged In

March 9, 2011-NVC Logged Out

March 10, 2011-P3 to embassy

March 18, 2011-EP Submitted!!!

April 11,2011-EP approved!!!

April 18,2011-Embassy Appearance

April 27,2011-Visa Physical

May 9,2011-Visa Interview!

May 9, 2011-TRAVEL CALL!!!!!!

May 16, 2011- In our arms forever...
