Christmas 2013

We had a wonderful, wonderful Christmas this year. We really tried to read a lot to Landon this year around Christmas and he also received 2 toddler bibles that we've been reading to him from. I got a lot of recommendations and we love the 2 we chose. We incorporated a new tradition this year that I had seen several other people post about. This year Santa brought Landon 3 gifts. Gold, Frankincense, and myrrh. The gold gift was something he really wanted, the frankincense was something to help in his walk with God, and the myrrh was a gift for his body. He received a power ranger robot he'd asked for many times, one of the toddler bibles, and a great new pair of shoes. He has soooooo many toys, the boy doesn't know what to play with next. We are also doing the same thing we did last year as well. He was allowed to keep a certain number of his new toys upstairs to play with and many of them are still in packages in the basement. As the year progresses, we will let him bring up a new toy every so often to play with. This kind of helps him to be able to play with them without tiring of them so quickly. And it keeps him from asking to buy a new toy each time we go to the store. :)   We also put several back that haven't been opened from their packages yet to take on our upcoming vacation. Same principle. Here are just a few of the many, many pictures we've taken this Christmas.
